Paul A. Stone is originally from Oklahoma and has lived across the southern and western United States, including Arizona, Florida, Tennessee, and California. He grew up in a family that valued traditional Southern home-style cooking. Through the years he has developed a love for Spanish Gastronomy and loves to travel through Spain sampling the local flavors.
Paul studied interior design in southern Florida and currently works in Los Angeles, California. He has a keen eye for spotting emerging trends in food, design, and music. As a co-owner of Split Bean Coffee, he plays a key role in tasting and evaluating new products while continuously innovating and refining offerings.
Paul is adventurous and enjoys discovering new places and trying new foods. His culinary preferences include Japanese, Mexican, and Southern American cuisine. He loves road trips, especially those with food stops along the way. You’ll often find him rollerblading by the ocean in Southern California or spending weekends in Santa Barbara, soaking up the sun.
